NFAR hosts Educational Workshops for educators and families each year.  These Workshops offer participants opportunities to network as well as to learn about resources and classroom strategies proven successful for teaching students with autism.

Autism not only affects the child but impacts parents, siblings and extended family members.  NFAR is dedicated to helping families of those with autism by connecting them with autism resources, other autism families as well as a variety of fun family activities in a welcoming environment.

NFAR Parent Programs and Family Activities Include:

Through our Community Projects Program, NFAR is collaborating with various organizations and agencies to bring new opportunities and enhanced options to those with autism in our community.  To date, NFAR has funded 110 major initiatives, all of which provide increased learning and/or inclusive opportunities to help individuals with autism strive.
