SUPPORT GROUPS FOR NEW PARENTS! - Feb 24th

Rady Children's Hospital's Autism Discovery Institute will offer Support Groups for parents of children with a recent "at-risk" identification or diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. These series are FREE of charge, and complimentary childcare and light snacks will be provided.

These groups are made possible by funds raised at the Race for Autism.

Beginning February 24, 2016

Wednesdays 4:15 - 5:45 pm (English)

Wednesdays 6:00 - 7:30 pm (Spanish)

DESCRIPTION:

Esperanza is designed to support parents (mothers and fathers) of children with a recent at-risk identification or diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. The " Esperanza" Supports Groups will have an English Group and a Spanish language group that meets 1x per week for 8 weeks.   Topics include: understanding autism, family and culture, behavior, and communication.

Free of charge and compllimentary childcare and light snacks will be provided.
